– 2 dl of water
– lemon juice
– 1 tablespoon of honey (optional)
Just like any other tea, you’ll need a boiling water, which you will pour over the corn silk. Cover the tea and let it sit for about 5 minutes. Strain the mixture and add lemon juice and maybe honey if you want it to be sweet.
You should drink one cup of the corn silk tea for ten days, and then make a 5-day break. If you have an acute inflammation, you should drink up to three cups of the tea every day.
The corn silk tea is safe for pregnant women as long as they take it in normal amounts. Larger amounts are not safe and can cause a miscarriage because corn silk may stimulate the uterus.
