1. Salt water
This is one of the most tested and trusted way of getting rid of toothaches, because almost everyone has some salt and water in their house. You can use this remedy several times per day if you have a toothache.
All you need to do is pour a small glass of warm water. Stir in 1 tablespoon of salt until it dissolves. Swish the salt water mixture in your mouth for as long as you can tolerate it. Then, spit the mixture out, but do not rinse. The salt will continue having an effect on your pain.

2. Tea tree oil
Tea tree oil is naturally antifungal, antibacterial, and antiviral, making it one of the most powerful oils in your arsenal. It is extremely effective at treating toothaches and even getting rid of the root cause of some toothaches. Please note that you shouldn’t use more tea tree oil than is suggested, since you do not want to ingest it.
What you have to do is dip a cotton ball in warm water. Add 1 or 2 drops of tea tree oil to the cotton ball. Then, press the cotton ball to your tooth, holding it in place for pain relief. Another alternative is to swish with a cup of water that has 1 or 2 drops of tea tree oil in it.

3. Baking soda
Almost everybody has baking soda in their kitchen. This is a quick and inexpensive way to get rid of toothache.
You should start by dipping a cotton ball in water. Then, dip the wet part of the cotton ball in baking soda, thoroughly covering it. And at the end, press the cotton ball to your tooth.

4. Garlic
Garlic is amazing for treating toothaches because it has natural antibacterial properties. Maybe it has a strong taste, but the benefits are worth it!
All you have to do is, remove 1 clove of garlic. Smash the clove of garlic to start releasing its juices. Then, rest the garlic clove in your cheek next to your aching tooth. However, if your tooth can handle the pressure, bite down on the garlic clove to release more juice and enjoy its health benefits.

5. Apple cider vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is good for cleaning your aching tooth. It’s acidic enough that kills any bacteria.
What you should do is soak a cotton ball in an organic apple cider vinegar. Press the soaked cotton ball to your aching tooth. And keep the cotton ball in place for as long as it feels comfortable.

6. Cloves
A lot of people have cloves in their kitchen. You should know that it’s great when it comes to getting rid of a toothache because they are anti-inflammatory and have natural anesthetic properties. Therefore, they can reduce swelling and ease pain caused by a bad toothache.
And here’s what you should do. Take 2 cloves and grind them using a mortar and pestle. Stir in a small amount of olive oil until the cloves are fully integrated. Then, rub this mixture directly on your aching tooth for immediate pain relief. Repeat as needed throughout the day.

7. Hydrogen peroxide
Hydrogen peroxide naturally kills any bacteria or infections swarming around in your mouth. This can offer fast, temporary pain relief.
You should mix 1 tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide with 1/2 cup of warm water. Then, swish the hydrogen peroxide mixture in your mouth for at least 15 seconds and up to 1 minute. At the end, spit out the mixture when you are done. Please note that you must not swallow it.
