Science has finally offered strong evidence on the fact that fluoride is toxic! Tap water is probably the root cause of your problems…
We already know that fluoride causes neurotoxicity in adults, and many studies have shown that is affects memory and learning. However, not many people are aware of its impact on children’s neurodevelopment.
A group of researchers at the Harvard and China Medical University in Shenyang conducted a meta-analysis. For the first time, they combined 27 studies and revealed a strong indication that fluoride affects cognitive abilities in children.
The lead author says that this risk should be taken into consideration, and that the world needs more research based on fluoride’s impact on brain development.
The Lancet published a research conducted by a group of researchers at the Harvard School of Public Health and the Ichan School. They found that children are exposed to different chemicals and that each of these has a direct effect on the creation of disorders known as ADHD, and other mental disorders as well.
Fluoride or variations of fluoride is one of the chemicals they listed. Governments have performed artificial fluoridation for many years without taking into consideration the lack of its effectiveness when it comes to preventing tooth decay.
They started with the research in 2006 when they noticed the effects of different chemicals on the neuro-development.
Then they did an analysis of several industrial chemicals, including fluoride. 27 studies in total illustrated the fact that fluoride affects brain development and leads to autism and other mental issues.
One of the studies associated fluoride with the lowering of IQ scores in children. “A silent epidemic” and most health authorities keep turning a blind eye to the issue.
Phillipe Grandjean from HSPH and Phillip Landrigan are the two leading researchers of the study. They both agreed that the reason why the incidences of chemical-related neurodevelopment disorders keep increasing is because of the increased number of untested chemicals that are approved for use, without any proper testing.
People do not know the dangers, and many perform an independent research in order to find the answer.
“Since 2006, the number of chemicals known to damage the human brain more generally, but that are not regulated to protect children’s health, had increased from 202 to 214,” said Julia Medew for The Sydney Morning Herald.
“The pair said this could be the tip of the iceberg because the vast majority of the more than 80,000 industrial chemicals widely used in the United States have never been tested for their toxic effects on the developing fetus or child.”
If you decide to use a fluoride toothpaste or do a fluoridated treatment at your dentist’s, there are two things you should do first:
Studies have shown that fluoride affects endocrine function, and thus causes kidney disease, bone weakness, dental fluorosis, cancer, lower IQ, calcification of the pineal gland, arthritis, immune deficiencies, skeletal fluorosis and other health problems.
“The problem is international in scope, and the solution must therefore also be international,” explained Grandjean in a press release. “We have methods in place to test industrial chemicals for harmful effects on children’s brain development – now is the time to make that testing mandatory.”
